CurateTube is a browser extension that helps users analyze their YouTube playlists and create or organize playlists.
We respect your privacy. CurateTube does not operate a backend server, does not maintain user accounts, and does not store your personal data on our servers.
When you use CurateTube, the extension may access information from your YouTube account through the YouTube APIs after you authenticate with Google.

CurateTube does not maintain a database of user information or YouTube account data.
Information is transmitted directly to third-party services only when necessary to provide functionality requested by the user, such as Google/YouTube APIs or AI services used for playlist analysis.
CurateTube uses Google authentication to obtain the permissions required to interact with your YouTube account.
CurateTube does not receive or store your Google account password.
Authentication and authorization are handled through Google's authentication mechanisms.
Because CurateTube does not operate a backend or maintain a database containing user information, it does not retain user data on its own infrastructure.
We nevertheless take reasonable measures in the extension's implementation to limit access to information to what is necessary for the extension's functionality.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own Google account and device.
CurateTube does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
CurateTube does not use your YouTube activity to build an advertising profile or track you across websites.
Third-party services used by the extension, including Google and any AI service, may have their own privacy practices and technologies that are outside CurateTube's control.
CurateTube does not maintain user data on its own servers.
Because there is no CurateTube account or backend database, there is no CurateTube account data that needs to be deleted from our servers.
You may stop the extension from accessing your YouTube account by revoking CurateTube's Google authorization through your Google account settings or by uninstalling the extension.
Data maintained by Google, YouTube, or other third-party services is subject to their respective policies and controls.
